We have acquired two young bucks this summer. The deer don't usually show up until much later in the summer, but these two have decided to take up residence in the woods near us. They come through our yard almost every day as they make the rounds of the neighborhood. They like to eat the tips off the berry bushes...especially the raspberries. Then they wander through the garden before crawling through the fence into the pasture. We have started to shoo them away from the garden. I haven't noticed anything missing yet, but our garden isn't very big - we don't have enough to share with our 4-legged friends, even such CUTE ones!
